【Chiang Mai Long Stay】My sweet apartment Suan Sukapap Residence

Time flies! I have stayed in Chiang mai for a moth and totally love here!! At the first, I lived near Chiang Mai gate which is called Smith Residence. It was nice and lots of street food. But it is not really convenient, especially not much things to do in night.
Because my school is NES, I tried to look for a apartment nearby. I saw Suan Sukapap Residence by chance and planed to take a look. When I went into the room, I was so into here. Maybe it is the destiny and we called "緣分" in Chinese. ;) I paid for the deposit immediately and started my five months living here.

Location
The location of this apartment is so good! It is in soi 17 of Nimman Road. Around 7 to 15 minute to Maya by walking and around 5 minutes by Mobike. Also, there are lots of resturants nearby.

Face to the apartment, walking around 1 minute is NES Study Aboard by right, walking 5 minutes is NES Nimman. The nice Sukiyaki Hot Pot-Potto is the end of this soi and turns right.

Facility and Environment

This apartment is pretty new and it just rebuilds at October 2018. It's pretty modern and simple style and every furniture are new.

Facilities includes: TV(They don't have English Channel), tv cabinet(can put some stuff here^^), 2 big closets, bed set(bed sheet, blanket, and the quality is pretty good), mirror and make-up closet(There is a  closet which can put some makeup), wifi(no need to pay), 2 chairs and table, air condition, refrigerator

Air condition: new and cold, no noisy in the night(it is important because some old apartment will make noisy). It is pretty cool during the winter. Since October, I never turn on air condition until February. No matter afternoon or night, I don't turn on air condition. Even though it is hot outside, it is still cool inside. :)

Lock: There are three locks, one is the key card in one floor, two locks in the room door.

Socket:There are four sockets, two next to nightstand, two behind tv

light: very nice. There are two switches and it is pretty light to turn all on. But the lighting in the room is good in the day time and that's enough to open window only. :)

Trash can: A big trash can near the stairs every floor and if you have the trash from room, you can throw it out. It is very convenient but no need to take it away in first floor.

Cloth washing machine: It is next to the resection and the small one is 20 baht per time, big one is 30 baht per time. They also have laundry machine.

Car park: There is a park outside of apartment for motorbike and bicycle. If you drive the car, there is also a car park opposite.

Toilet
Bathroom is very big, the floor is made by wood which can prevent it from slipping. Also with a window and can put a clotheshorse which can borrow from resection. ;) The best part is the water heater. The shower is very hot only with the middle level switch. They have shower head and shower.

Rent fee
Short term rent(less 15 days): 4,000 baht per month
Short term rent(1-2 month):6,000 baht per month
Long term rent:5,500 baht per month
Water fee:200 baht per month
Electricity fee:7 baht per unit
When you move in the apartment, need to pay 6,000 baht deposit and 6,000 baht rent fee for first month. Deposit will get back to you when you check out. :)
Disadvantage
Well, even though the apartment is nice, it still have the disadvantage, like:
1. no elevator: only 5 floors and it is ok for me
2. no swimming pool and gym: If you are really concerned about it, maybe need to reconsider it.
3. no hot water bottle: Can borrow the microwave from resection to heat it up
4. water cooler: They sell 6 bottles(1,500ml per bottle) one pack water in resection

It is my sweet apartment in Chiang Mai, if somebody is interested in it, here is the name card and can contact with the owner. :)
